Looking at others pictures can be so freaking deceiving, making us think “they have so much more than I do!”

This is our ego at work.

We can we know the ego, because it speaks the LOUDEST, it speaks first, and….it is my opinion to ALWAYS be WRONG.

What I am learning is that “I overlook the body and behavior of myself-Shannon and see her spirit as created by LOVE. She is whole, perfect, and complete…she is total love, happiness and joy. WITHOUT fear, judgement, and w/o condemnation..”

The above statement about MYSELF seems to be haughty. BUT IT IS MY (OUR) TRUTH!

Divine Love/god/Creator SHOUTS FROM THE ROOF TOOPS our WORTH, PRICELESSNESS, our PURITY, our HOLINESS, our DIVINITY and ONENESS with god and humanity.

It is our ego who wrongly points out our failures and short comings. And when we BELIEVE it, we are being arrogant! For when we believe the lies of anything but our TRUE IDENTITY we are speaking to LOVE as if we don’t believe her.

I’ve been BRAINWASHING myself. Every hour I set my iPhone alarm to go off and then I take 10-30 seconds (longer if I can or need to 😜) and speak…

When I gave no attention to my kids yesterday, when I blamed Sophia, when I glanced at a sister for driving to slow and called her a bitch under my breath, when I looked in the mirror at all my wrinkles and felt dissatisfied….THOSE ARE NOT THOUGHTS god is thinking about me, therefore I will not think them.*

Our ego continuously thinks or reminds us of yesterday, what he/she did, what we did, how we look, what someone else has; and I’m not even speaking of all the thoughts of our future the ego desires to bother us with!!!!

But god/love is ONLY NOW.

No thoughts. (Nirvana.)

Inner PEACE.

You can feel your nervous system MELT.

My breathing automatically inhales deeply and exhales for an extended time ON ITS OWN.

MY MIND HOLDS ONLY WHAT I THINK WITH GOD.

From what I’ve read, Divine LOVE thinks we are made in its image. The image of Divine LOVE is perfection. And WE ARE ALL THIS.

To not believe our True Identity is egotistical.

We are learning to UNDO and UNRAVEL our mind from fear and INSTEAD, we are learning to LISTEN TO LOVE and tune to it.

There is no right or wrong way. There is no correct path. Actually, all paths lead to LOVE in the end.

Top Left. Our next door neighbors have a pool….not just a pool but a pool with a built in cave and waterfall, slide and jacuzzi. After kids swim they are HUNGRY. While they complained of being starved I kept my mouth shut and made this beautiful salad. I had in Pyrex bowls shredded chicken, salad, onions, seeds, cheese and dressing. They continued to complain an hour later. I just read my book on the porch and enjoyed my food.

Olivia said, “you always say if we don’t eat healthy we are going to get sick. And you won’t make us good food so we have to eat ice cream.” I responded with….18 isn’t far away….you’ll be out by the time you get too sick! 😜

Top Middle. That’s me…I’m about 54 and my body looks pretty good for my age. Thanks to LIFTING WEIGHTS and a good diet. I bought the X3 during covid and I’m a believer! I’ve been using it for 4 years and I’m not even serious like I should be and my body is just as toned as it was when I was going to the gym 6 days a week for 2 hours. Now I workout 4 days a week for 15 minutes. The X3 is harder actually because 😝😫 each set is ALL THE WAY TO FAILURE…but I just go to ALMOST failure 🤪 because I’m a bit lazy.

Top Right. I made an earring holder from a fireplace grill I found in the trash.

Bottom Left. Girls at the park on our street with their horses.

Bottom Middle. New patio furniture I bought for outside my trailer. I love my “HOME” away from the house filled with kids. I can go inside the home, eat and enjoy the kids company, then return to my paradise retreat.

I’ve not been feeling like my normal self. I’m not sure exactly how I should feel. I’m familiar with this crazy high/happiness that I often feel but lately as I’m RENEWING my mind and learning to spot the ego, disconnect from it or at least not give it attention….I’m feeling very MELLOW.

I used to think a lot about my future. Finding a partner, growing in relationship, sharing life with someone I love and have delicious sex with 😋 has not been consuming me.

Nothing IN THIS WORLD can fill me (no sexual pun intended 🫢) like Divine LOVE FILLS ME when I COMMUNE WITH IT.

There is no high, no nirvana, no feel good, no peace like that of being in relationship and yielding your soul to its ONENESS with Divine LOVE/god.

MAKE TIME FOR YOUR PRACTICE! Sing, cry, dance, MEDITATE as much as you can, quiet your mind and go down and deep….PRACTICE! Only in our stillness can we hear spirit. Spirit is quiet and gentle (opposite of ego). Be consistent. Talk to Holy Spirit and ASK for assistance! You will not be denied! Many feel they are denied but it’s simply because they DON’T PRACTICE THEIR COMMUNING as much as they practice their scrolling. GET OFF THE FUCKING SOCIAL MEDIA and get into your soul! This is where it ALL HAPPENS, the breakthroughs, the shifts, the holy instants! The JUICE is in the ***COMMUNING*** with the Life Giver!

*How not to think ego thoughts. When they come ask Spirit, “Help me to see this differently.” To me that means, “Help me to see this person/situation as GOD would see this person/situation.” Game changer. This is the MIRACLE in A Course In Miracles. When we begin to see through the LENS OF LOVE and see our brother/sister as OURSELF.

Some would think love has an opposite, which would be hate. Hate is only a result of fear.

Love/god is ALL ENCOMPASSING….what is all encompassing can have no opposite.

LOVE ALWAYS WINS. 🥰
